Narender Gupta Founder & CEO of Tathya Consulting, which offers strategic guidance in the area of Public Policy, Legal and Corporate Affairs. With over 30 years of experience across Engineering, Manufacturing, Real Estate and Telecom, Narender brings to the table diverse and rich experience in the area of Public Policy, Legal and Corporate Affairs.

Prior to founding Tathya, he held senior positions with leading Corporates Bharti Airtel, DCM Group, and DLF Group. He has a proven track record of success in the areas of Building Relationships, Public Policy and Legal Affairs. In his assignments with DLF and DCM group, he handled legal and commercial functions which oriented his mindset towards a complete Business Approach.

His last corporate assignment was as Group Director – Corporate Affairs at Bharti Airtel - the world's fourth largest and India's largest mobile services company with a customer base of over 250 million across 20 countries in Asia and Africa. At Bharti Airtel he handled Legal Affairs, Public Policy matters and was also responsible for building external relationships, which are based on trust and transparency. He also played an integral role in business development including several successful M&A transactions.

At Bharti Airtel, Narender also played a crucial and positive role by participating in shaping of progressive Telecom policies through active collaboration with the Industry, Regulator and the Government, in the backdrop of a fast changing policy and economic environment. His vast experience of policy evolution in telecom sector will come very handy for emerging regulatory set-ups.

Narender's strength lies in precise and meticulous evaluation of issues. He is equally apt at framing strategies as well their implementation in a timely manner. Transparency and ethical dealings with utmost integrity are accorded highest priority in business relationships by him. He has a natural flair for building long lasting relationships and share excellent relations with bureaucracy both at the centre and state level governments, Industry bodies, International Bodies, media, regulators & Policy Makers.

A Law Graduate and Post Graduate in Business Management, Narender is also a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
